It is always nice to meet people who share the same interests as we do.
This club was established to bring people like you and our club members together with a common bond, Horses!
There is a lot of room for ideas, so we encourage you to bring your suggestions and join our club today!

horseOur Mission...
Our mission is to educate and raise public awareness of these treasures of American History.  We feel it is important to share information because these are truly animals with unique personalities that are a part of our national heritage.

Who we are...
Our founding members are horse or burro owners who have adopted through the BLM at one of the auctions.  The club is open to people who are interested in sponsoring the mission of the Indiana Mustang and Burro Club.  It is NOT necessary to own a horse or burro to be a member of the club.

What we do...
Our meetings are held the second Saturday of each month. Our club events in the past have included trail rides, clinics, demonstrations, cookouts, and other fun activities. We are also participants in the Hoosier Horse Fair and Old West Fest. We support each other in the gentling of our adopted animals and are rewarded by the progress of all our member's animals.

I never thought in a million years I would ever own a horse, and a wild one at that until one day in June of 2006 when my sister adopted her wild Mustang. I hung around her and her friends and braved my fears by getting next to these yearlings and something wonderful happened... more
